    You contradicting yourself,

"I respect gays as much as I respect a straight couple"
So you respect their rights and what have you..
    Tehn you say,
"Some of us don't want to see that... they should do it in private.."

Although I'm not agreeing with his point as such, you can't miss it. You can't just stop yourself from seeing people kiss in public. It happens all the time - seeing public affection is frequent.

They are probably more man than most men in the world. Coming out to your family that you're gay is one of the hardest thing you can do and they still do it.

    I respect them for that.
That is rubbish. Homosexuals are not more of a man than most men in the world. Just because they come out, doesn't make them so much of a man. Sure they are being brave, but how does that make him more of a man than for example a straight firefighter who saves peoples lives? It doesn't. That was a stupid comment from you.

I think i know what he means by being a bigger man or i may have the wrong end of a stick, but for most gay people it takes a hell alot of guts to come out and kiss in public as some people are REALLY againist it and even want to harm homosexuals or have really strong views. I know i don't have the guts to come out or even hug another gay in public as im scared incase someone says something :s
So i think it means it takes a big man to come out fully as a homosexual or woman as a lesbian.

i agree, it's hard to miss. i hate it when people say "if you don't like it don't look at it" as if you're always on the lookout for things you don't like so you can avoid them. somethings are unavoidable.

not that i agree with the thread starter.
I wish I was a little bit taller.

Don't tell them to get a room "/
Public affection is actually proper good. What's the point in restricting your affection to inside a room?
