I dont rly like Maximo Park nor did my mates but I saw this on Channel 4 and it was well good.

Golden rule of indie kids: if someone insults a band you like suddenly refer to their 'old stuff' which was 'so much better,' thus making it look like you know something about music, even though Maximo Park have always sucked. Always.

tip number #2: when one band makes it big, copy their vocal+guitar style.
all indie bands sound the same after arctic monkeys, they all have that annoying accent, its like all indie bands have to come from up north somewhere

I don't think that's true whatsoever. Did you see Razorlight do it on their newest(self-titled) album? Did you see The View do it on Hats off to the buskers? Nope. False comment if you think about it.

maximo park = amazing.
our velocity = great but nowhere near the dizzy heights of 'a certain trigger'
the coast is always changing > every other 'park song ever written.

i love it sooo much. i don't think it's the best song ever written but coast would definitely be top ten for me :].

Maximo Park are on a pretty odd label. They're on Warp, which is like an electronic lable. Just thought Id throw that out there.

They are a good band, especially in their sphere of contemporaries, but that definatly isnt the greatest song ever.
