I'd say get the surgery. You've got nothing to lose but your time.

if it bothers you that much
    and it hurts
i think go for the surgery
    I feel alive
    You were my ecstacy
    It's you that I'm craving
    I feel alive
    You were my energy
So why do you hate me?

I broke my arm 3 times in 2 years. I had to have it reset. What the hospital are most likley to do is put you to sleep and break your finger again and then put the bone back together. For me it was heled within 3 weeks.

    Get well soon!

I think you should, I mean, If it's bothering you, then. Yeah. Good luck.
