If you are finding it hard to hear or your ears are starting to ring, hurt or weep it's because the infection is spreading. You need some antibiotics.. I don't know why the doctor didn't give you a prescription. If he did then use the damn stuff!

I had a terrible throat a couple weeks back. I ate ice cream for every meal of the day (it was in the holidays). Made my throat better though ;P
