    The arguement occuring before pose two equally justified comments.

    However, both are slightly inaccruate.

    Having 10,000 shoutcast servers may effect the server load slightly (and i mean minutely)

    However It is not the server load you should worry about, it is the port's durability.

    An average server port holds 10Mbps - 100Mbps, if you exceed this your port will flood and your server will drown itself. (Literally)

    Causing Crashing / BAd quality streaming... the rest is can be presumed.

    So Go ahead host 2,000 shoutcasts on a server for free. IT may work for a couple of hours as the port maintains multiple streams. But sooner or later, it will sink.

    Watch the ports guys.

    I host 10 free SHOUTcasts currently, 3 of which that are actually online at the molment. Nothing will slow with that
