Looks okay but I think personally that a shade of green would be more suitable for your layout? And also there is too much purple, it's okay if you want a purple colour scheme but the idea of a colour scheme is to have a scheme of coloursnot just purple

I don't like the bitmap font you used, it's off putting to the rest of the layout.
I like it, though, 'cept for the above mentioned.XHTML, CSS, AJAX, JS, php, MySQL.

Thats really messy mate , Lemme give you some tips
First
- Get a pen + paper
- Decide whats going to go on the site
- Decide what is the thing you want people to go to first
- Make it nice and easy to use
Second
- Plan it out content wise
- Get your code ready
- Spank it on
- Then glue your graphics in place
Donno if that will help but its how I do it and try to make it
following a smile eg clean , pro and what not
