[HxCL] Gears of War tourney?

Wow, quite the response but I guess it's not enough for a good tourney.. How does 24 people sound? 6 teams, y'know? And to the people who are thinking 'Why Gears?', it's because it's the first thing that sprung to mind however I'd say there is a possibility of Rainbow Six, Halo 2 and dare I say it, even Halo 3 BETA games in the future.

A tourney is more or less a league (isn't it?), but meh I'll see how we can plan it. :> If we get enough then I'll see about going ahead with it.

Well, say a league:

Play a match,

1st gets [x] points
2nd gets [x] points
3rd gets [x] points
etc

And make a league;

1st [name] [points]
2nd [name] [points]
etc

or

1st gets [kills] [deaths]
2nd gets [kills] [deaths]
etc

and make a league;

1st [name] [kills] [deaths] [kills to death ratio]
2nd [name] [kills] [deaths] [kills to death ratio]
etc

Tell me if I make no sense

Map ending:

1st [Name] [Kills] [Deaths] [Points]
2nd [Name] [Kills] [Deaths] [Points]
etc.

So you sum it up at the end of every map and see who has the highest. We could always do it in clan teams though.. The reason 24 would be a nice number

tbh it would be much easier on halo 2, due to the online stats on bungie.net

anyway, I don't have gears and the halo 3 beta is matchmaking only

It's a decision really then, who would like Halo 2 more than Gears.. We can do either one now, or later. Eventually we're gonna do both so its everyones choice... Rainbow six would be fun though.
