    Default Yep

Im a jurno for www.habbotat.com (for [au]), so I play it for that mostly
Some people take it too over the top.
As long as you dont let it rule your life... it's oky to go on it. But not everyday.
Sometimes people use these games as an escapism. They get bored of the life they are leading, so they turn to virtual worlds such as habbo, where they can be and say what they want, without people judging them etc.
To me, this is somewhat sickening, when you think that people give up their real lives, for fake lives.
You probz think to yourself "Yeh, that is pretty bad.. but I dont think there are many people like that"..
Well there are, for example : some of the nerds at my school

It's up to you *points finger at the addicted* to notice in yourself when you are letting the virtual life take over your own.

See if you call them nerds... why do you think they are like that on habbo? because there noone can judge them and they can actually have fun all the time unlike in real life they could be having fun one minute then someone like you calls them a nerd or someone else bullys them for whatever reason.

I use to be quite addicted... at first it was for friends etc. then people left and it was all the furni trading.. I LOVED it.

Now I only go on once ever so often.. I use this forum alot though as a way to help my boredum at work lol.

But if you can see where Im coming from... yes people shouldnt let it ruin their lives, 'living' their life on the internet, but yet it doesnt help them when they may find their real life hard because of bullying etc.

It's not just for the furni aspect of habbo..
It's for the community too I think
When i was younger I used to go on habbo ALL the time
Now I work, college and have more of a social life, I don't go on it all the time xox

I actually dnt remember how I even entertained myself on Habbo when I played it. There is nothing to do!

I remember trying to introduce people and they are like... thats it? :\

Habbo is loosing popularity anyway. The originals are leaving, and although new people are coming, they get bored easily or dont like what they get from it, and leave.

furni + reputation is everything. getting permed on aight. was the best thing that ever happened to me on habbo. i got donated yeah, like 3t worth on my new acct but i never go on because it sucks when you think about it. im getting unpermed in 3 months, might get unpermed & not even come back on, you realise there is so much else to do when you JUST go on habbo instead of outside.
