I think it's annoying because girls will think you're just another guy and then when you come out suddenely you're this unbelievably funny guy who is amazing at shopping and has perfect style. One of my friends was exactly like that, she's really annoying now because anything I say which has a remote amount of hilarity to it, she'll laugh her head off in the most fake way ever. One of the pluses though is that girls feel more comfertable around you because they know you're not just talking to them for sex or whatever. Which is kind of big-headed to think I'd even be remotely interested in them anyway.
