    Default Trapped in Virtual Reality!

    My entry:

You're bored on one Summer's day. The heat makes it impossible to venture outside and do anything much more than sleep and fart. So you stray absent-mindedly onto the computer.
Check your emails and find a message waiting for you. It's from your best friend, who exclaims that he's found the "best site EVER". At the bottom of the email is a link. A link that you would eventually regret clicking. As soon as you released your finger off the mouse, you're officially trapped forever in virtual reality.
Looking in the link you find masses of talk of "Battle Ball" and "Falling Furni", and you almost have a mental breakdown there and then. The flashes and ultimate addiction has claimed you. There is no escape now...

    My entry:-

    Habbo Pets
Habbo pets have become very popular in hotels all around the world. Habbos can choose from 3 types of animals; cats, dogs or the considerably recent addition of crocodiles. Pets cost 20 credits (£2.00 in real money) and the accessories and food for them cost at the most just 2 credits each.

Pets take special commands from their owners, including ones like "sit", "play dead" and various others. They also follow commands from visitors to your room, but of course no pet will be as obedient to a stranger as it is to its owner. Some Habbos have also been known to use pets for game rooms; racing two pets and whichever reaches the end first, wins! Pets are also blockers; and this can be seen as a positive or negative side to pets in different situations. For example, a good situation is in a game room, like a maze, where pets can be places to make it harder for contestants. But bad situations, like in a normal room where pets are blocking other Habbos from getting around or even entering the room, can be extremely frustrating and could even reduce the amount of visitors your room gets.

Habbo pets can be your best friend… or your worst enemy! Take one side of it, your pets will always be loyal to you, Habbos have the choice of which pet they want, what their name is, and have the responsibility to care for it. But on the other hand… you can have a pet at home, would you want added responsibility whilst playing a game? Habbo is meant to be fun, why give yourself extra jobs and costs just to have a little graphic pet running round and getting in the way? But lets face it, even if they are just a picture on your screen, they’re cute! And surely that’s what matters most. Who cares if Cuddles is sleeping in the doorway, just say "Aaaah…." and stand and watch him dream.

Well, this was Star-x reporting on Habbo Pets and hopefully other things in future. Goodbye!
