Go on a plane and scream

    OMG he has a bomb

then try explaining to the police that you were just joking once the plane had to do a emergency landing.

Or scream Fire in a movie theater.

Then tell everyone it was a joke after it had been evacuated.

I got perm banned once for saying "If I could 'hack' Habbo, I wouldn't. No point." I just made a new account, asked to meet a MOD and basically ranted at them calling them mis-reading idiots. Strangely, they unbanned me.

The major differences between Habbo and real life.

    1. Habbo is virtual, real life is reality.
    2. Your examples have some risk to life.

So really, what you said doesn't relate to the problem at hand.

Happened to loads of people on the forum. Basically, you are just typing it out. MODs cannot see your expression if you are sarcastic or really meaning it. Hence on the safe side, they ban the user.

Yeah I know my example was extreme but it showed the same principle :p.

Also when a criminal offence is committed in the UK it doesn't matter if the person who was attacked wants to press charges. If the Police/CPS have enough evidence to prosecute without the victim's statement/evidence then they can go ahead and do that. It's just that most of the time the police need a statement from the person who was attacked; but not all of the time. If it's a criminal offence then the CPS can choose to prosecute anyway as it's a crime against the state.

If they are not 100% sure. they can't simply ban anyone.. that is what i feel...

For the bomb case, If Jim Carey shouted on the plane: " Hey!! there is a bomb!" eveyone will laught at him! Even if he means it.

It is about different people bringing across different message. They should look at the history of the habbo. All along he bought stuff ( a lot of it) people know him as what kinda person he/she is.

Fo example: Would u believe if someone told you he saw Bill Gates stealing a candy at Walmart?

Next example: What if Gates announce on tv that he stole cars, commit burglary.. Are the police going to arrest him? it is not meant by word he say but by the action.

    if i say: " hey i m a scammer!" i must also show how i scam.
U can visit a police station and claim u are a robber. If you did not commit any robbery, the police usually don't bother a dam about you unless you create a nuisance.

A person status do have impact on a person. that is what a person is judge unless there is hardcore evidence.

That is the message i m trying to bring across.
