& on the beckham decision..he's contridicted himself so that isn't good when you're in the spotlight that McClaren's in.

Just because they've picked Beckham for a Qualifier.. doesn't mean he's going to play in the Euro '08 does it..

& There is another whole season of football, good chances that players could develop & injury prone players may have a good season injury free (Owen, Smith, King) Or players such as Wright-Phillips might get a good full season of football under their belt, you never know really.

I don't think theres any need to be so hasty at a early stage like this.
