He thinks you can just put a simple script on your site and it will allow people to give each other reps.

I'm sorry to say its not as simple as that.
You have to have PHP and the PHP Script. Plus theres not really a reason to make a user system just for rep points. They're simply an addon.

so u want say a rating system, say rate this pic, or indeed this dj sort of thing? or do you already have a cms with the dj's stored in a databse which you wnat to add rep functility to "/
