If you get involed it might ruin the relationship, I've spoken to the girl I liked whos going out with somebody, spoken to her baout the problems their having etc and just gotton to know them better, I'm happy with being mates but I think we're both getting closer each day.

Just tell her you're happy that she's happy, that's laying the ground work. Just be good mates with her for a while and if she ever asks your opinion on her relationship say you don't want to say because you feel like you're butting in. Little things like that show her you care about her happiness, but don't overdo it, you want her to know you care, but not that you're a whiny little *******. Don't turn the convo serious yourself just make her laugh alot, talk to her, if she ever gets a bit serious with the conversation go with it. Show her you can treat her better than her current BF and you care more than him, without making it obvious it's what you're trying to do.
