i think charley and nicky have more or less forced BB to evict her, why would it take 5hrs to decide? and why would you wake someone up then evict them at like 3:30am? and isn't it funny how she got evicted when charley and nicky were discussing it? they're deffo's one of the reasons she's gone.

Yeah, if they didn't make such a big deal out of it, but talking about it loads, they probably wouldn't of evicted it. It's just the fact that they spoke about it, which probably made BB think that they were offended or whatever, so they removed her for it.

But, didn't she say, that with her and her friends she uses the word to mean mates & what not. So, she could of just said it because of that.

I don't think it's shocking at all. In this day and age it shouldn't be seen as such a bad thing, and as she explained at the time a lot of her friends call each other that. Where I live (or within my friend group anyway) it's the same, it's just not that offensive and I don't see it as shocking either. Shouldn't have been made to leave.

Its weird. Iv heard black people use it as a term of endearment to each other but the only time i really hear a white person say it to a black person is in a racist way.
In cardiff its very very mixed and generally not that racist but if someone was to call one of my mates who are black that then i would be offended for them
It all goes back to the slave trade thing and then the whole BNP blacks are lesser then whites thing which is a load of bull.

I dont think its a word that should be tossed around lightly as i often hear it a way of racial bullying.
I guess it really depends on your group of friends.
I think the reason that the word is used by black people in songs and as a term of endearment to each other is because they are trying to turn it in to something positive. A sort of "call us what you want" attitude, unfourtunalty, it probably isn't going to ever turn in to a completely non offensive word because of the history behind it and the fact that a LOT of people who do use it, use it as an insult.
Ther was no need for Emily to say it.

Edit: To above, i think the point was, that they were actually offended by it.
