Got my braces today :(

they hurt for a while, unfortunately. especially when you first get them on. i couldnt eat anything but pudding for a week. when you get them tightened, it hurts for about 2 or 3 days. And in between they barely hurt at all.

Wow, it really sucks - The whole mumbled procedure, the awkwardness of the pulling - clipping - pushing and wiring, and theyve kinda left jaggy edges. I dont think i can get used to these things, anyone else?

You WILL ge t used to these. they will probley be re done every 2-4 Months. if your thinking " he cant say much he dont have braces." well i do. infact in the UK flag so yeh. and you can choose your colours. but there not that bad so good luck with them

you will get used to that. im always **** off when i get em re done about thaat i cant eat :S

I nearly got the braces for a year and it used to come annoying but now its ok!
But after they put the elastics - next 4-6 months after you got them, the elastics hurt, when i mean hurt they really hurt!
