Mazda 3's are cute but I think I like the Mazda 6 better. More sports carish.

She lives in the US, the Mazda 3 is a 4-door sports sedan. My friend has one and he loves it, it's a 5-speed manual transmission, it's really powerful and fun to drive.

but I still love the VW's!

Actually, Mazda is made by Ford, I just learned that, same with Land Rover and Volvo, myabe that will change my mom's mind on the Volvo V60R and Range Rover she wants, the dumb Ford Freestar we had was a piece if junk. We got $5500 from Ford when they bought it back, $5500 for a 2004 Ford Freestar SES, WITH A TV!

Volvos are still great cars, and Ford aren;t that bad, or they aren't at least in the UK. The new Ford Mondeo looks great

Ford in the US suck, except for the Fusion, I love the Fusion! Ford doesen't redesign their cars as often so the re-sale value sucks. I could go to the rent-a-car place and get a 06' Taurus for like $8000

Ah that'll answer it. I think cars that are re-modelled alot get boring and there is no point in buying the car if it will just be re-designed in about a year. Although in the UK that means if you sell it you still get alot of money back, depending on the condition, mileage etc.
