i wouldn't go out and buy something really expencive as it could get lost on the way, though it's unlikely i've seen it happen before.
Maybe write her a poem and give her something meaningful, since most girls would prefer something personal to some random present.
No one can really help you with this though, since only you know her best.

Get her a.. I don't wanna sound dirty or anything but if your over 17 maybe a ***** as that would be a amusing moment for you both, then maybe buy her some flowers and take her out to town
