Its a good idea but could cause mayhem etc.

Say you send someone a message and it said "Read" but they didnt reply to you.You might keep sending them message's untill the reply etc.

Or you send someone a message expecting a reply and they dont reply,you could think there rude.

But it is rude not to reply:s
I know what you mean about that, but the mayhem would be cut down if it was only VIP

Oh it appears certain staff already have this feature.

The problem i forsee with that is that people's inboxs will fill up twice as fast, as they will get a "Message read" message as well as a reply. I know I leave messages to stew in my inbox, im sure other people do too.

Hmm.. if you scroll down the bottom of the message list there is a list of colour codes and illustrations which tell you the status of the messages you have sent. I can't see we need anything else

Correct, however color codes aren't accurate as they turn red automatically, they never go white, I'm presuming because its disabled.


I'd wholly support this feature, except for the fact that it seems we already have it :S I just checked, I have a message tracking area, and the ability to request Read Reciepts. Is it just me?
