There's no point blaming him for starting. Whatever the circumstances were, he's started now so the only useful comments you can make are ones which help sort out his problem.

it's best you come out & tell the truth.
take the consequences that comes along with it.
i think that shows maturity when you can tell the truth & suffer the consequences that comes with it.
    so... that's my advice.
maybe not what you want to hear, but i think it's good advice.

also, some people are saying don't tell your mom.
    okay, that's wrong.
if you don't say anything & hide it your consience will bother you.
that's one reason i find it difficult to lie.
    i never forget about it.
    it bothers me so much.
    just tell your mom.
    it's what's best.
you never know, she might be happy you came & told her.
    she may be understanding.

also, at the age of thirteen, you should know not to fall under peer pressure.
    stand your ground.
it might be tough but if you know something is wrong, no matter what, you won't do it.
like say your friend's said just go kill that girl.
    peer pressure right?
    would you do it?
    no.
    why?
    because it's wrong.
    perfect example.
    Why write like that

    Cant see it -.-

    you must be dead popular.
why do people always tell other people do ditch their friends just because they drink or smoke or something? that wouldn't make you a very good friend. i'd be rather hurt if all my friends ditched me because i smoked. you're meant to be friends with people for who they are, not what they do.
    so don't listen to this idiot :}
and the people having a go are stupid. there's nothing wrong with trying things out and experimenting, and it was his own decision and now he regrets it. so why tell him he's stupid etc? :S i doubt he wanted to get addicted.

& at the addiction thing, i don't really see how you got addicted on that many, but if you did then fair enough.
if you're really scared to tell your mother, don't. there's no reason for her to know. just try going cold turkey, don't accept any from anyone when they offer, and ask your friends not to offer them to you anymore, i'm sure they'd understand.
and it's not like you can be tempted to buy them yourself since you're only 13, so i don't think it'll be that hard for you

Well maybe different people have different opinions and mind-states, perhaps? Also, why do you find it so hard to actually talk sense? All I see is absolute crap, sorry.

You gave into peer pressure.. YOU PRUNE! Anyway, go to one of them clinic things that won't tell your parents and get some patches :] Wear them for the first two weeks, then take them off and if your feeling moody on a certain day, wear a patch, and maybe chew some niquitin or whatever its called. Gl giving up :8
