    being honest round where i live your only likely to get a job in a ice cream booth or something, lol. most "proper companies" dont tend to employ staff that young. however if you have a relative who works for e.g WH smith or somewhere like that then you might have a chance, otherwise i doubt it..

    You can only legally get a part time job when you get your National Insurance (NI) Card. You usually get that a few months before your 16th Birthday, so although WHSmith may say the accept 15 year olds, you have to have your NI Card.

    Edit: Actually scrap that, I had a bit of research and I found this from someone;

    I'm 15, i work in sports world...if u want to work when you are under 16 you need to get an employment liscence form from your school or local concil then your school, parents and the company you are going to work for has to sign it then its sent off and you have to wait to see if u get a liscence

    its really slim pickins where i live, most places that hire 14 year olds are looking for them to lug heavy crap around the shop and clean up, and expect to get payed pennies, thats how i quit my last job. my mate delivers papers but sells pirate dvds from the paper bag we all went round with him once, called ourselves the knock off nigels =D

    he gets pretty good money from that, and its generally low risk...

    it's such a pain. i'm 15 and i'd be happy to slave away in a clothes shop or something for some money but you have to be 16 or 18+ pretty much everywhere. i'm not doing a paper round either.
