Lol its kKnew i'd get someone complaining.
And sorry to karl for spelling his name wrong.
Actually it isn't.. www.joker.com does them too. My dad own's a domain with them and he has made some sub-domains via Joker.com and it isn't the hoster, because we have some webspace privately owned.i was joking.
Need a domain but dont have paypal... not to worry. You can purchase a domain via text or home phone at XeoDomains.mobi.

webspace privatly owned ... that completly agrees with what i just said... its the hosting that requests the data .
... I have domains registered with quite a number of places and hosting too, i no its the hosting that does it
And Yes, you will find someone 'complaining' . as you are incorrect ... unless you want to spread outdated information? or less common information go ahead but all my points are true.
Your spelling COMPLETLY changed in the tutorial.
I think that what he means is like you can make custom sub domains with your registrar. I know for a fact that you can with 1&1.
For example, My nameservers on my old hosting site were made on the 1&1 Admin Panel and pointed towards the servers IP.
So yeah, You can make subdomains through your registrar I believe. However I feel its a little impractical as you can do it on cPanel.
