They're providing better services, I don't see how that's a bad thing. If the new features annoy you just don't use them.

Right, some people use them some dont.
I have no problem as long as i can go on, and Search - View - comment - close without disturbances/adds from it.

I hate the comments rating system but I like how you can go to any place on a video like with googlevideos now.
