    Yeah, close ANYTHING that uses the internet (MSN etc). When I play Battlefield 2, I keep the bare essentials open (TS and xfire). Anything else gets closed.

    Might be a bit late.

    I'm with Virgin Media and I never had a ping like at 300s. I only get high ping's in "100s" if I have programs open, like Photoshop or I'm downloading.
