Okay try swopping the light shade round with the darker shade, now that should of made things a bit brighter, NEVER put "----------------" Use the tag <hr width="50%"></hr> this makes it look neater and its better sized also the boxes with the facts and navigation are a big nono choose a nice box to put things in and stick with it, also above the content box make a banner, like clubhabbo's with the circles but think of something original =]

It looks like a radio layout for some reason to me. I would use it for something small which doesn't need a great design, but it's okay..I guess..
