    Indie is actually the one style of music I really don't like to listen to. I find it pretty boring, there's just no special thing to it.

    true. but it's not the idea that has changed, more it's turned into an entire scene.

    indie really isnt a sound, but sounds have come out of it. you guys in the uk think of indie as a sound like arctic monkeys and kaiser chiefs and all that jazz. but american indie is really, really, really diverse.
