You do realise there's a sub forum where people post about losing whips and such? This just seems like if they lost full rune it would feel like you losing like 20k. (Or something ^^) Because they lose so much often.

You don't cheer someone up by putting them down. That full rune and what not could of been all he had, no doubt he worked alot to get that. I bet you wouldn't be happy if you lost something you worked hard for?
