Got it on Friday, even though it was out in some shops on the Thursday. I reckon it's alright, although there is still a few niggles with it.

I'm only 9 games into my first season, but already I've had a disallowed goal (Sometimes two..) in every game so far.. the same has happened for the opposition team too.

I'm not playing a proper game until the patch is out. There Is to many bugs on the game.

If they get all of those bugs out they way, then it CAN be molded into a great game, each and evey element they've included makes for the best FM (until next year probably.)

I've just finished my first season with Leeds. (I know.)
It's been succsesful, but very challenging and it's been a big ride. Some matches were very dry, others very exciting and concedeing/scoring lots. We lacked a high scoring goalscorer, however a couple strikers and midfielders did well. The defence was rather poor, and something i'm going to work on over the summer.

Final Table - Fairly pleased. It went down to the last day, and I struggled to get into the play offs, however I made it.
Play Off Final - What a great game. Could of went either way, however we came out looking very confident plus we scored within the first 45 seconds. A great effort and that's probably our best game all season.
Transfers In/Out - Fairly pleased with the transfers. Would reccomend Stancu to any club, he's a very good youngster and cheap. At the end of the first season he was valued 1.2 Million.
The Squad - Here's the squad. Weak defence however my LB was good all season.
Expections - I did poor in the JPT Cup only reaching the first round and the league cup only first round again. However I got to the fourth round in the FA Cup before being knocked out by Stoke away 2-1.

Overall a good first season for Leeds. However the championship will be a big step up. We struggled some times in this league, so I think next season it will be a big fight for survival. I do have a great reserve and u18 squad, and hopefully a couple players can come through - i've got some very promising strikers. Swasnea's striker Jason Scotland netted 44 goals alltogether, just thought i'd mention that which is obviously a great tally. So would reccomend him for those with a great budget in either the championship or league one.
I do like FM08 on the whole, however I dislike the new match engine, much prefer the last one.

So true.. I'm only on Jan 5th in the first season, and he has bagged himself 27 goals in all competitions so far. He has even spent 2weeks out injured and regaining match fitness, and is still top scorer. Daryl Duffy is also chipping in with 16 goals scored in all competitions. I only drafted in two players pre-season, Jody Morris on a free (He is fairly good for L1/L2 teams), and Adam Chambers from Orient (He is quality, his average match rating is 7.6 which is good over 20odd games, although he did cost me £170k).

Anyways, I'm sitting top of L1 at the minute, 7pts clear of Sarfend. Just been humped 5-0 by Man Utd in the FA Cup 3rd round, mind. In the southern-section semi-finals of the JPT though, so it's not all bad. I did get knocked out in the 3rd round of the League Cup by Villa, though. I've got £981k left of the transfer budget, with £18.1k left of the wage budget.. anyone fancy reccomended some players?
