    Let me clear this up.

It's not Habbo's server freezing. So go suck L_W's *** some more.

You just have to use IE.

Edited by Jordy (Forum Moderator): Please do not be rude.

I reckon the buffer is slow or some packet is being sent that crashes the shockwave of firefox.

    Try This out:

Note: you must be on the PC Administrator account to do this.

If you have a more modern Windows computer with dual processors and you run Firefox, you may experience your Habbo client window freezing intermittently. We have come up with a solution for it! Unfortunately, you need to do it each time you start Firefox, but hey, it does solve the problem. So do the following…

When you have Firefox open and running:
    1. Open Windows Task Manager (hold down Ctrl + Alt and tap delete once).
    2. Select the Processes tab.
    3. Sort by Image Name by clicking Image Name (this step is optional).
    4. Right click firefox.exe and choose 'Set Affinity'.
    5. Deselect 'CPU 1' and click OK.
To see a screenshot of the Windows Task Manager after you've correctly completed these steps, click here.

Important note: You will need to repeat the above steps each time you open/close Firefox.
    Cheers

Solved by the Jordy (I am aware that Diesel's may work, but this solves it once and for all and is much easier!)

First of all download the IE Tab add-on for Firefox. This basically displays websites or web pages like they would in the IE browser, but inside a Firefox tab. It was mainly created for IE only websites or web designers with out the inconvenience of swapping between browsers.

Simply download it here from the official Mozilla Add-on's site, then set it up and get it working (It's all easy to do, just requires you to restart Firefox).

Once you've got that setup, go on the Habbo.co.uk website and then right click the 'IE Tab' symbol which will be currently displaying the Firefox logo on the status bar. Right click it... Encase you wonder what your looking for, click the thumbnail below:

With any luck this'll come up... (If that fails go into, Tools >> Add-ons >> IE Tab >> Options):

Click OK or apply, and then every time you go on the Habbo.co.uk website using Firefox it'll display all of it as it would in Internet Explorer, resulting in it displaying the client like it would in IE, meaning no freezes! Then it'll be like that forever and display it like this:

It's never crashed since and works fine,
    Jordy

Oh no, you called me a *** head over a forum. Like I really care you idiot.

If he means the whole of Firefox goes slow then it won't be a "slow buffer" or "incorrect packet".

Anyway, I believe it's a hardware related issue, nothing to do with Shockwave.

    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

Throw your computer out of the window, bring it back in and habbo should load.
