My brother bullies me

I know what you meant dear, but i'm sure he'd find other things to blackmail me with, like...my diary for instance, he stole pages outta it and says he's gonna put it on the school messageboard if i do anything to annoy him, which is kinda hard not to as he seems to get annoyed easily!!!

i'll find it when he's out drinking tonyt then my mum wil be out, then i wil get wel bullied by him, i know it sounds sad saying bullied but whatever. K i'm gonna steal his phone, delete the video (i have stoped smoking) find my diary pages (probably under his pillow where he hids his xmas cards for my mum ) and destroy them.
Then if anything happens again I'll tell my mum. oxox

Well it all started when ;

One night I was sitting on the computer while my mum was out. My brother (who's 16) came home quite drunk and asked to go on the computer. However, he didn't like it when I replied "5 minutes" I turned round and he punched me in the face and went to bed :S

I just thought it was a one-off but now usually when I'm with friends and he's been drinking he always calls me a "Mink,tramp,****,loser" just whatever and regularly hits me when were alone.

I'm to scared to tell my mum incase he shows her a video of me smoking on his phone, if she ever found out she would disown me.

Help?

I seriously doubt your mother will disown you for smoking, just say you tried it.
Mine didnt say much when she found out I smoke.

And you should just tell your mum, if he is beating his own sister then god knows what he will be like when he is older.

The majority of parents love there kids no matter what, so just tell her. Siblings are different.

Do you not think your mother would be more concerned the fact your brother is seriously abusing you than the fact you have had a smoke or two in your life?

If it happens again I think you should stand up to him and say you won't accept it. If it escalates wait until he is sober. Simply tell him you are sick of it and there is no way your going to let him treat you in such a way. He might realise and apologise etc. but if not then I suggest you go to your mum and make sure she knows the full extent of the story. Explain that it really isn't just sibling fights etc. but in fact really is physical abuse.

If he shows her the video she'll really just need to get over it as the issue ofyou being abused is a bit more serious... :rolleyes: You could even just claim that it was the first time you tried it and he caught you...

If your mum fails to recognise the situation please inform me and I'll get you in touch with people who will help as it isn't an acceptable position for anyone to be in.

obv she won't, maybe she won't like what you done but she will never hate or disown. just try to delete the video wen he is asleep or sumin. and next time he hits you tell your mom. AND DON'T SMOKE IN THE FIRST PLACE!

My mums best friend starts chemo in 2 weeks time, I don't think she needs me to tell her I smoked,

Simple. Tell your mum. It's stupid to smoke, but then again your brother is bullying you, which is worse. Is your brother always drunk when he does this? Also, telling your mum about his drinking problem is revenge enough anyway.
