I think you should stand up to yourself and don't take any rubbish.

I've known people to be bullied before, we had this chick in our year who everyone hated because she was different. It's really stupid.

Ignoring might not work, I guess it depends on the bully. But I find a lot of the time when people ignore bullies they find a target, someone that doesn't react so they get away with it and they continue to pick on, because maybe they think they will eventually get a reaction.

Sometimes if a reaction is good enough it'll scare them off, but again, that depends on the bully.

Bullies are hidden cowards, the only reason they bully is because they are afraid to be bullied, that is what they really think deep down inside. They may appear to act "funny" infront of their friends, but that is what they want. A lot of people are afraid to stick up for the victim because they might make themselves a target. It sometimes happens.

I'm in senior school now, it's my last year, and bullying is never an issue. I know someone that is really annoying, but they aren't a huge problem.

I disagree, I don't think anyone should be bullied. Not everyone is going to be the same. It's a big problem and it needs to be looked into closely.

Luckily enough I have never encountered bullying in any form, not entirely sure why but just doesn't seem to have came across me. I do though, have friends which have been bullied by various people and the same thing works with each and every one of them. Once you let them know that your not scared of anything they could possibly do (not saying use violence but if it comes down to that then you've obviously got to be ready) then they will back off straight away, adding to this, if you have friends which will also not back down against them this add's extra confidence to yourself and lowers the confidence of the 'bullies'.

Hope this has helped you & remember, people only bully others because they are aware of their own faults so try to make thereselves feel better by picking out other peoples, just let it fly over your head.
