Your computer calculator will do it wrong as it would just work in the order e.g.

If it was 9 - 9 x 4

it would do 9-9 = 0 x 4 = 0

Instead of 9x4 = 36

9-36 = -27

B - Brackets
O - Other (powers)
D - Division
M - Mulitplication
A - Addition
S - Subtraction
