Apart from the title saying "onlineArcade", a list of game types below the header, a game placeholder, a box for popular games. It just doesn't seem like an arcade website to me.. nothing gets to me saying "it's an arcade website".
Yeah, I understand what you're saying.
The banner is awfully like TechTuts or w.e its called? -_-

Same colours mainly and the flick thing under it. I actually based the banner off another games site called something like GamesInfested. I then added a simple bevel which I have used on lots of my layouts ^_^
It's a nice design, .. question is does it fit the "Arcade" theme ?
I'm afraid not.. or not entirely.
- Remove the inner-glow on the title boxes. (ex. shoutbox), It doesn't really fit it, it would be much nices with just the gradient & thats it
- Add some arcade-game icon's to the site, or even charachters or vehicles to the header, but, BEWARE!! - adding charachters or images into a header is dangerous as alot of people tend to overcrowd it, placing too many on there.
- Hmm.. maybe have a second color ? (fitting in with the blue) used for links/rollovers/icons/... (maybe a nice looking red or orange).
Anyway, it's alright
Good luck with the design.

Olivier.
Haha, funny guy. I'm talking about the overall design, no the banner or text.
Read above.
Exactly! I'd love to see mr. smart ars reply to that. It's a nice design, .. question is does it fit the "Arcade" theme ?

I agree with scott, arcade sites tend to be quite dark or like silver although alot of popular arcade sites dont look 'arcadey' such as teagames.com.
