Well its not that bigger a deal because if your in a lert race, you should be concentrating on the lert anyway, so you'd be ready whenever it were pressed.

Secondly, if you press it yourself so you know when to go, it'll most likely slow you down because of your reaction time from pressing the lert to pressing the desinated square.
