Killing things with more Hp will get you more xp but it'll still be 4hp xp per 1hp damage you do to them.
On members people train at things like rock crabs (50hp) and experiments(100hp) as they have real high hp and very low combat and defence levels so you kill them really fast so it seems you're getting extra xp.
