As your larynx (voice box) grows during puberty, it sticks out in front of the throat. Everyone’s larynx grows, but girls’ do less than boys’, which is why they don’t have a noticeable Adam’s Apple. There is not anything you can do to change this part of your anatomy.

I have friends who are 17, 18 and when I was in school their adams apple stuck right out, some didn't, mine didn't. I guess it just depends on ur genes and stuff ... :S
