    Yeah I did 3 or 4 and got an A. To be honest if you write too much the examiner gets bored. At A Level you have word limits and if you get into the habit of writing lots it's really hard to get out of that and you just make the whole situation a pile of crap for yourself!
    To be honest 12 pages is a foolish, it doesn't make you look good and if it takes that many pages to get a good grade you may as well give up now - as you don't stand a chance in the exam. If you can still get a good grade with a few pages, then why the hell write 12?!

    For all the points I had to write about in the exam I had to do 12 pages, I didn't write 12 pages for the hell of it :rolleyes:

    When I did it in year 10 I did 2/3 pages.

    Last year, (because it changes I think) we did Great Expectations. A boy in my year (11) that's doing his A level maths atm, lol did 18 pages in size 12 font, lol.
    Madness.
    I got an A on that though . I think I did about 7.

    You've got to have gone well over and you will probably be marked down for it. Im in Year 12 now and we are only allowed a maximum of 2200, and a minimum of 1800 [Mine was 1970]

    When I did it in Year 10 I think I did about 5 pages.

    No, there is no limit to how much you have to do. However she did state you have to do at least 4 pages.
