    He was unlucky, as the ref was hardly both-sided.
    But you cant blame the ref for his loss, Mayweather got him down fair and square, the better boxer won, but in a few years, it'll be different..

    i said in the other thread i thourght mayweather would be too strong
    and it seems as though he was

    will hatton ever get another chance at mayweather

    Completley and totally outclassed by the best boxer on this planet, Hatton was second best right throughout. Hatton left himself exposed too many times and Mayweather just picked the openings, he was trying to exert himself on to Mayweather far too much.

    Althought to fair, I've never seen Mayweather take so many risks himself and approach a fight in that manner, so you've got to give credit to Hatton for that. Absolute peach of a left hook by Mayweather for the shot that started the end for Hatton, though!

    Perfect summary of the fight. You can't blame the referee for Hattons loss mayweather landed some massive shots which Hatton couldn't reply with. I liked the fact that after the fight Hatton in the post match interviews he could share a joke and wasn't too upbeat about the defeat.

    In everything we lose there seems to be a problem with the referee :S. Maybe we're just not as good at sport as we think?

    proper gutted that he lost, i was confident he was going to win i had my popcorn out and everything

    i thought the english fans were amazing, i bet america has never had an atmosphere like that before.
