I rushed into it and forgot to do it -I'd already created my Gamertag on Xbox.com and then the first time I switched on the Xbox it was already connected to the internet, so I recovered the gamertag I made on Xbox.com. As I didn't create a gamertag on the Xbox, instead I recovered I didn't get the free month - I can't be bothered creating a new one though because I can't be bothered to redo stuff and create a new name, so don't do what I did

Once you use the month one, you need to either enter your card details to pull up your card from xbox or you make a new one.

you dont get a month free of silver.

silver is free all the time.

you just need to register for 1 month gold i think

or just buy a 3 month for £15
