I still have & wear mine. I just like the amusment of spinning the remote around while its attachted to ym wrist
No accidents have happened either =]
I just wear it for the chanc eof me eltting it go and it breaks tv or gets lost in my room

I do because my little brother uses. I dont use the cover though as its anoying and doesnt charge proply with it on.

If you have the old straps then I don't think taking them off is such a big deal. I think that if you take them off you are more conscious of what you are doing and will be more careful and less reliant on a strap.
