    Most routers have a control panel and the name of the PCs and devices connected to the device are listed. As far as I am aware, you can get people fined but sometimes they blame you for leaving it unprotected, which is a terrible excuse really

    I don't use anyone elses and my own is locked. If you don't lock it then you're basically letting everyone share your connection.
