That's really ignorant. Guessing by your username etc I'm guessing you're an elitist rock lover who's never even properly tried rap. I'm not a fan of the grime artists mentioned in this thread as I just don't like the style that grime has, but rap in general is a massive part of my music taste. To say that it's "not music" shows just how little you know about music, as it generally has all the elements required of a musical piece and much of it is better than the stuff that any little kid can do if he picks up a guitar. I'm not slating rock music as the core of my music taste throughout life has been the likes of Bon Jovi, Black Sabbath, Nirvana and various others, I'm just pointing out how utterly stupid your statement was.
