Well if you really WANT an Xbox 360, just keep on persuading them by what qualities it will have, eg: not needing to keep on saying ''I'm soo bored'' because you got bored on one Console (Ps3)
And if they say ''then go out with your mates'' just kep on going till da end.

I ditto that. If its your money you should be able to do want you want with it. If its their money you're lucky to have the luxury of being able to make a case, my family is so skint I'd be a straight no -.-

same mess i was in i brought a wii the day it came out played it for while got bored then said mum i wanted 360 she was like nooooooooo u brought wii then u hardly play it but i was like no good games out atm so then i keep naggin her saying omg i will have so much fun i will stay out trouble and promise to play it lol so she gave up in end and brought me 1 and she dont regret it cuz it keeps me quiet lol

You could sell your PS3 and buy an xbox 360. I don't see a reason for both atm. I have an xbox 360 myself and although I do planning on getting the PS3 for bluray - I doubt I will be buying games for it unless they are exclusively for it (one game I would definitely buy is FFXIII when its out). I am just waiting for bluray to settle a while longer first plus I don't need any more distractions
