I mean, if my first time went awry and I ended up getting the girl pregnant somehow (broken condom much?), I wouldn't ditch her, I'd stay by her side no matter what. I have more dignity than that. I'd never run off and get away from it.

If you think about all of the possible bad outcomes you will probably put yourself off it. the fact that your friend brags about him and his girlfriend doesn't make him cool and if it makes you feel bad he shouldn't do it. it would be better to wait than to just give up completely.
