That is sort of silly, however in the longhaul India could prove quite a good link in wars and politics. Plus with the history of the UK and India, it could help them quite a bit. :]

I agree that he could be plugging loop holes in our own country before given that amount of money to other countries, however if you think about it thoroughly, that money the government is giving away won't directly effect us as citizens because if they couldn't afford to give it away, they wouldn't - so there's nothing wrong with helping a developing country if we can afford too. It could prove to be a good thing in the future in terms of wars and politics like Pyroka said, for instance it could be an extra allie for Britain in a war.

£100m was annoying, £825m is laughable.

Britain doesn't need help in mega wars, we are a Nuclear Armed country with 180 warheads capable taking out any city in the world. It does effect us people because we have to pay more tax, we also suffer in the point that our police don't get a pay rise, we can't afford flood defences. Did you know the east side of Britain is disappearing because of coastal erosion, the Government is leaving this land because they 'haven't got enough money' - If we have the cash to give the EU billions and China & India millions then surely we have cash.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Sort out our own country before giving our money to other people

Eww. That will attract them to England more than they already are. Brown's tactics are about as good as Lindsay Lohan's music. (It isn't!)

Quite a good link? For what?
Our past slavery? Our devastation since the 1800's?
Many people still hold Britain in grief from this.
Also, how is this good? The more money Britain spends, the higher our
tax shall go. £875m will cause tax inflations, and pay decreases.

This is getting out of hand now. It's about time the GENERAL PUBLIC get a voice on these actions.
