Everyday!? Thats nearly £20 a week! The bus I used to get to school was about £14 a week, but my dad paid for it.
That's why EMA is there to cover the costs for transport ( I don't go college to get EMA like other would do )

And wow you have to spend 50 mins on a bus to get to and from college? I would lose my mind sitting there that long lol
Our buses got upgraded to really nice ones, then they degraded them. :S I guess because it's always packed and the new ones were only single deck buses.

50 minutes, minimum. If often takes longer. :eusa_wall

They're not that bad tbh, in the mornings they are on time, its just on the way back from college they're always late, costs £52 a month for a first bus card and tbh the buses dont stink, are clean, comfortableish..
2 buses... -_- If I had to get 2 buses I'd go insane.

Ok, they don't really stink, but they arnt very clean and they are not comfortable.

EMA is the only way I survive. However, if my bus cost £20 a week, I would refuse to get it and find different transport.

My mum thankfully gives me money for dinner around £5 but she can't keep doing it everyday ( she doesn't work) the only income we get is from my dad working (manager).

EMA can just about cover my costs for travel and food.
But I don't really need food luckily on Monday's and Tuesdays because i go there at 9 and come back around 1 on mondays and around 1:30-2 on tuesdays.

So I keep some money for wed and thurs as I got full days and friday have no college.

I also can save a bit of money for myself.

    Two buses... mission.

I have to survive entirely off EMA. £20 a week. I'm still waiting for my bonus.
I make myself a pack lunch to save money. :8

How much money for yourself? £1? Seems like you have to spend a lot.

Our busses here seem on, but while i was in aderlaide they had a great system!
$2 for 2 hours (about 80p) then when it runs out it you just have to buy another, OR you can get these 10 trip things where u can use them 10 times and they cost like $7.
They also have like a little ticket that u put into a machine and it reads it. Its sorta like a credit card, so u dont even need to show the driver your ticket.
    Its a great system.
And iin singapore they pay a set fee a month and it gives them unlimited travel i think.
    propper need a good sig:\

Monday and tuesday I take £5 which is 10 for 2 days, leaving 20 pound.
    But i only use 3.45 leaving me 1.55 + 1.55 = 3.10 which is ok?

I leave 3.10 for next day added a bit of money to it to make .45P to get bus, then my mum gives me another £5 for dinner, then if i don't buy expensive i save money again and for thursday.

Honestly I only have like less then £10 for me, but because I don't spend my money and my mum buys my clothes with her money (lucky boy lol ) i have EMA untouched in my bank which is all good.

But If my mum asks for money i just give ( not like I need it badly ) im 16
    ( Don't drink/smoke) im blessed lol.

bonus should come end of January, so either this week or next.

    Its a joke imo.
Global warming this, less polluition that. Yet the buses smell like wee, absolutley stink of smoke and are freakin uncomfy.
Given the choice, i'd have a car anyday. *REMOVED* the environment

    wow, thats bad.
the bus at the top of my road comes every 30 minutes, but sometimes its every hour which is annoying if i have to be somewhere at a certain time, otherwise ill have to walk 30 minutes to a different stop with a bus which comes every 30 minutes. and because i live 150m from where leicester city sign is (im on the edge of the countryside), i have to pay £4.40 for a day pass, compared to £2 which is just typical of arriva. they are probably the worst bus service provider as they always increase their price. the price always increases slowly, but once they decided to double the price and now they have decided to get rid of child day passes, child return and give poor service. so **** imo.
