prep has morphed into different things. it's really just any type of expensive clothing. you can be a prep with ripped jeans, as long as they're from hollister or some store that'll sell them for more than 60 dollars.

I know one preppy guy where I live. That UK version of Laguna Beach on MTV of people from that Manchester area are preppy.

Well I think Council house and violence should be correct.
Most of them live in council houses, and they will "bang" any one who dosn't like them, or what there doing.

Preps are the popular people in American high school movies like Mean Girls or the pointy nose blonde in High School Musical. They wear abercrombie, hollister, lacoste and stuff like that.
