Veteran is VERY hard, unless you just take your time.
I personally did certain missions for certain achievements, i tried Mile High Club earlier, but it was too hard.

The only hard missions in veteran that I find hard are One shot, one kill and No fighting in the war room, that's it really, the rest of veteran is easy lol

the bit i got stuck at is when you have to wait until the chopper comes and its like 6000 m away and the bit were youve got 4 min to get to the chopper which i think is the same mission

if you got stuck on that part on normal you hve no chance doing it on veteran imo
