Yeah I know a few teachers with Facebook. They tend to consciously keep out of any networks and refuse any requests from pupils though.

my family is the opposite. both my parents know all there is to know about computers. my mom is 51 and shes way way way more tech-savvy than me. she's even got an iphone.
