i agree with you neil but you are missing something... its not just chavs/townies that are like that - many alternative types are more open to other types of ppl but this doesnt mean that some goths/grunge/etc dont do exactly the same thing
everyone seems to hate everyone who is different to themselves
i personally aint fond of chavs, mainly for the attitude most of them have...but im also not fond of some goths because they act the same way...

From what i can tell that feelinsg pretty mutal.

    Yes chavs/towies may hate goths?
but then again, most goths tend to hate townies. ALl the indervidual socal sub sets all seem to hate one another in some order, wich is why i tend to try and not be grouped with any particular one, finding it preferable to be me, rather than some steriotype.

Anyway to the point, does anyone else agree that chavs/townies have a problem with goths or people that dress like them....?

I really hate Chavs! They go around, vandalising, (I'm not saying only Chav's do it, Grungers and Goths do it, but Chavs have made something of a sport out of it) beating people up, which gives teenagers in the whole a bad name!

I know what you mean. At my school, everyone just goes round saying 'Oh i did your mum last night' or something stupid like that. It's really annoying.

No. It happens in real life as well, and if it's happening on Habbo then that is just emphising how bad it is.
I mean, just yesterday a group of my friends were eating lunch on the field. My friend decided to wear my entire pe kit over her school clothes and then this stupid group of year 9's started to kick footballs at us. Not accidently, absolutely booting them. Okay after a while we got slightly peeved so we took the ball and threw it over a fence. Grr and all of the girls that were there as well were saying stuff about my friend like "Hey hit the fat one!" or "get them, she just called you a chav" Pssh.
    And we aren't even 'gothics'.
Aaaaaaaaanyway, yes I do think there is a problem with all these different groups. Everyone needs to sort out their differences.

Most of the kids and teenagers round my area, either have a joy of rubbing me up the wrong way or they dress like total nutcases with scally clothes. The trouble with "chavs" or whatever people like to name them, is they all wear the same thing! I saw a group of kids the other day and they had the same shiny cap, same light blueish/dark blueish trousers and the nike tops you get in JJB. I thought christ, there's one way to get noticed. Follow the crowd you big wooly sheep! Baa baa!

Me, I just wear whatever suits me. I know that a few things don't suit me. Pink shirts are a rubbish suit but pink tops are ok on me. I just don't get why the way you dress determines your personality???

When elephants shall learn to fly, I shall believe in miracles.
